Tried and tested
We invited Gemma from House & Lifestyle magazine to the salon to experience the personal service for herself, she came away not only looking fabulous but with a glowing report…
Sometimes going into a new salon can be a little intimidating, people tend to stick with what they know, however this definitely wasn’t the case when I entered Revel. I was made to feel very welcome and could have happily stayed in the waiting area with the lovely coffee and biscuits I received.
The salon is lovely with very high ceilings and great deco, there was a great buzz of activity going on, all the staff were extremely knowledgeable when I heard them chatting to their respective clients about the different styles they wanted.
Russell was my stylist and I mentioned a few ideas about what we could do for my hair. I thought I wanted a fringe but after Russell explained this wouldn’t suit my ‘’heart shaped face’’, we decided on something else. I felt confident in his capable hands and so asked him to do what he
thought was best.
On to the shampooing, Jess sat down with me and went through a few questions to help her decide which shampoos and conditioning treatment would be suitable for my hair – they all smelt amazing and she gave me the best head massage – my hair felt great afterwards.
I was so pleased with my new hair cut – Russell took the time to talk me through how to blow dry and maintain the style myself, he even went through two different ways of doing this to achieve different looks.
We spoke about all of the fabulous offers they currently have going on at the salon, including the new make up and blow dry package starting from £39.95, perfect for the party season approaching. I’m looking forward to going back and trying them out!
All in all my Revel Salon experience was great from start to finish – I parked right outside the salon, received a warm welcome and magnificent haircut. I have found my new salon, I suggest you make its yours too!
