We talk to Jack Cook, Managing Director of MC Warranty Services to find out
more about what their business offers and what drives them to succeed.
What was your first job?
Kitchen Assistant at Storm Restaurant.
When was MC Warranty Services first established? And how?
It became apparent that there was a gap in the market when our sister company MC Plan and Site Services’ clients consistently asked about warranty services, so MC Warranty Services was born out of demand. MC Warranty Services Ltd was founded in 2019, aimed at sourcing competitively priced structural warranty quotes for our clients in the construction industry on new build works and conversions. Although we’re based in the BCP area, MC Warranty Services Ltd quote for projects nationally, with a network of inspectors able to visit sites right across the country.

What services does your company offer?
Whether it’s a commercial, residential, or self-build warranty you’re after, an insurance backed guarantee or site insurance, we are able to help. We offer a highly technical approach to our structural warranty service, using our experience in the construction industry to fine tune quotes most suited to our clients, depending on their project size, costs involved and experience. Working in partnership with MC Plan and Site Services, I strive to make sure that MC Warranty Services Ltd will make sure your journey with us is stress-free and runs in a timely manner from the start of your journey through to the completion of your project.
How does your service benefit clients?
We pride ourselves in providing a personalised, efficient, professional construction insurance brokerage service to homeowners, self-builders, developers and contractors, undertaking new build and conversion projects to source the most competitive structural warranty quotes regardless of size and monetary value.
MC Warranty Services Ltd aim to act as a ‘One Stop Shop’, encompassing all the structural warranty services under one roof in a clear, efficient and competitively priced manner, taking the stress out of the structural warranty process whilst finding the best solution for the client. MC Warranty Services Ltd will work closely with all parties involved throughout the process, including the initial quoting phase, throughout the duration of the build and at completion
of works.

What do you think makes a good entrepreneur?
An entrepreneur needs to be creative and innovative in order find the gaps in the market place and create the products or services required by consumers to meet their needs. Particularly in this current climate, being able to adapt to the ever-changing business environment is key to being a successful entrepreneur.
What drives you to succeed?
Consistently adapting and improving our processes and services to meet our clients’ needs and ensuring our clients are satisfied from start to finish.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
We will continue with our growth, team expansion and building on our customer-focused approach to the services that we offer, with the ultimate aim of providing our own policies to our clients, no matter what size the project is.
What are your plans for 2024?
We’re already looking to expand our team for significant growth in 2024. We’re looking to add to the current products and services we offer, focusing on additional insurance policies that provide our clients with the protection they need for more high-risk, high-value areas of their schemes.
