Dorset based architectural designers finds new home in Ashley Cross.
After 12 years of focusing on opportunities throughout the UK, Tony Holt Design has recently settled into new offices in Ashley Cross, Lower Parkstone.
During this time the practice has notched up over 600 self-build and homeowner projects, stretching over 47 counties in England, Scotland and Wales and more recently in Ireland and even across the Atlantic in Boston, US.

Their presence in the domestic arena took off when one of their projects, Dairy Farm Lodge, was nominated as a Grand Design award finalist for best self-build and featured as the cover story in Build It magazine, a national self-build publication. This led to a 2-year regular column in Home Building and Renovating magazine featuring how to redesign and remodel existing properties.
Projects completed by the designers range from small extensions, to major remodels and new builds. In addition to the services expected from an architectural practice, they also overlap into space planning and landscape design delivering a comprehensive and ‘joined up’ design solution for clients.
It’s an incredible feat for their small team to have secured consents with over 150 different local planning authorities, many in challenging and sensitive areas including green belt, AONB’s, conservation areas and even a notoriously difficult paragraph 80 (formerly paragraph 79 & 55) dwelling.
