Established in 2009, DJA are renowned for designing unique, bespoke, one-off houses for private clients, in addition to feasibility studies, apartments and master planning.
Since their inception, they have been at the forefront of Architectural design in the South of England, having won numerous national and international awards for their designs over the past 14 years.
DJA have extensive experience in negotiating planning approvals – working on Brownfield sites, the Greenbelt, ecologically sensitive areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They have a reputation for thoughtful, high-calibre concept designs, always thinking of practical design solutions to achieve a site’s potential, whilst never compromising on aesthetics or build quality. The experienced team of architects have the ability to unlock the value of any site, with each project treated as an individual design solution – designed specifically to meet the client’s needs and site conditions. DJA have an excellent reputation for their high standards and bespoke detailing for both contemporary and traditional buildings.
Looking forward to 2023, DJA have several exciting projects in the pipeline, and are looking forward to the imminent completion of one of their most ambitious residential designs to date. Located in an envious location overlooking the Solent, their ground-breaking design pushes the boundaries of residential architecture, featuring a wall of glass allowing uninterrupted views over the water, intersected by the sculptural organic forms of the first and second floor terraces. DJA are delivering this house from concept to completion and have been involved in all phases of the construction, from working drawings through to interior architecture.
As a practice DJA are proud to have an experienced and knowledgeable team of Architects and Designers, and have Chartered Practice RIBA status in addition to being affiliated with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
