Sometimes when we look at our own properties we miss the things which great potential Tenants will not!   In our experience, Tenants who are prepared to move into, for example, a dirty property probably won’t look after it very well!  

So here are our top 5 tips to attract great Tenants:

  1. KERB APPEAL – whilst this is a very American term, it is absolutely right to address this!  Freshen up paintwork, clean windows and tidy the garden 
  2. SPARKLING CLEAN – ensure appliances, skirting boards, toilets, taps, sinks, surfaces, woodwork, light fittings, mirrors etc are all shiny and clean
  3. SMELLING FRESH – open the windows, clean the carpets and use a subtle scent diffuser 
  4. WELL MAINTAINED –make a list of those niggling repairs and get them sorted out
