In a market where property sells as soon as it hits the open market (if it makes it there at all!), buyers are forced to become more creative in their search for the perfect home. Getting the chain completed to exchange is difficult enough in normal circumstances, but when the supply of properties available to buy dries up, and the volume of transactions ‘in the system’ sits at unprecedented levels, getting to the final hurdle can be tricky.
