Artifical Grass; Child and pet friendly, no mud or mess!

With the rainy season upon us, why not protect the carpets and floors inside your home by installing cost effective artificial grass – eliminating mud from the house that pets and children bring in!

Constant maintenance of the garden can feel time consuming and tiresome, artificial grass cuts out the stress of this allowing you to spend more time enjoying your garden. Not only this but if you have pets and children who spend half their time running in and out of the house whilst running through muddy puddles you have the added pressure of cleaning up those dirty footprints. Artificial grass is simply mud-free; so no matter how much it rains there will be no mud to walk in to your home!

It is both child and pet friendly as artificial grass is made from a mixture of polyethylene (commonly used in grocery bags and children’s toys), polypropylene (commonly used for plastic utensils and microwaveable containers) and nylon for heat resistance. None of these materials make it dangerous or toxic.

For pets it is a great hygienic option as you can remove pet mess from the surface and then simply wash it down.

Most grasses available on the market are pet friendly. Some may argue that a PU backed grass is better than latex because latex has the potential of absorbing more urine and therefore if not washed through regularly can retain smells. A pile height of 32mm or below is recommended best due to dog muck potentially sticking in longer pile heights.

As an example the cost for a 30m2 (6m5m) area including full groundwork and preparation, removal of any excavated materials, installation of new sub base, and supply and installation of UV resistant grass – is £1,500 +VAT.
