LUXURY FABRICS
Warm tones of velvet upholstery are perfect for snuggling up on in the autumn and winter months. A timeless Dixie velvet sofa in a rich, dark blue is a perfect way to not only add warmth but also highlight a variety of beautiful cushions. Mix different coloured and textured fabrics such as knits, velvets, and printed linens to create an inviting place to snuggle up in the cold evenings. Add a deep textured rug to enhance the cosiness and intimacy of a room.

THE GOLD TOUCH
Adding gold to a room always adds a sense of luxury and warmth. Subtle splashes of gold décor enhance the light and ambience of a room. Gold accents are an intelligent way to add sparkle and a subtle hint of luxury to a room that you do not want to overpower with metallic or bold colours. Adding a gold mirror to the room helps not only reflect light around the room but a great way to add a subtle touch of elegance.

FEATURE WALLS
Adding a feature wall adds such a statement and focal point to a room. Using patterned wallpaper adds opulence without overwhelming the room. Wallpaper is a failsafe way to add ageless pattern and authenticity to contemporary rooms. It also gives the opportunity for you to re-introduce the colours and shades it holds via other forms such as cushions, ornaments and accessories.

ACCENT FURNITURE
Accent furniture is a great way to inject your personality or embrace your wilder side, whether the chair, sofa or footstool is covered in a plush, warm, orange velvet or a striking print.  Introducing interesting pieces of furniture such as a stunning an upcycled Parker Knoll rocking chair, like the one shown by The Cornelia Collections, (07780 687188) adds a great deal of visible interest and vibrancy to a room.
