2018 has been a busy one for Mark Cook at MC Plan & Site Services.
The company was formed in 2013 by Mark and Helen Cook and since then has rapidly grown.
Today they have grown the team to 28 (including 3 consultants) and moved premises twice already, with more staff in the pipeline and another move anticipated for early next year to accommodate their ever expanding work force. This year saw them add a further fleet of 5 state-of-the-art Toyota C-HR Hybrids plus another 3 livered vehicles.
Originally operating just within the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch conurbation, MC Plan & Site Services now operate right across the UK, working across both public and private sectors. Whether it’s to oversee refurbishments of existing office buildings and homes, or much larger entertainment venues and commercial premises, the MC team are proficient in offering advice and problem solving along the way.
As well as celebrating the success of their first five years as MC, Mark and Helen also celebrated a milestone anniversary. Ever conscious of those less fortunate than themselves, they decided to do something monumental to mark both occasions and embarked on an adventure of a lifetime together: A trek to Nepal.
With not much training beforehand, they took off for 12 challenging – but deeply rewarding – days, trekking a total of 80 kilometres and climbing more than 27,000 steps. They then went on volunteer and assisted with much needed work on a local school project which had been decimated by earthquakes.
Every year, MC Plan & Site Services support one or two charities which are close to their hearts. This year they chose End Youth Homelessness and Young Minds.
Helen said, “With all the craziness that Christmas brings, it’s also a time for giving to charity and if you’d like to donate to either of our chosen charities, we’d be honoured.”
