Planning ahead is key to success at KPPC
Exciting times are ahead at Ken Parke Planning Consultants (KPPC) after a landmark year.
Not only was it the Bournemouth-based practice’s 21st anniversary in 2024, it also put firm foundations in place for its long-term future and growth serving clients across Dorset, Hampshire and the wider region.

Ken and Angela Parke, who founded KPPC in 2003, have stepped up to executive positions while handing over the reins to two of the longest serving and loyal members of the team, Adam Bennett and Kat Burdett.
Ken has become Chief Executive Officer and Angela continues as Chief Financial Officer. Kat has taken on the role of Operations Director and Adam has become Planning Director.
Ken will continue to provide full planning consultancy services for KPPC, while Kat and Adam assume greater responsibility.
It means the firm will be able to continue to provide the exceptional planning advice which has made it such a successful and well-respected consultancy, while also growing as a business to serve even more clients with its expert professional services.
Ken said: “It’s a pleasure to hand over to Kat and Adam, who have been instrumental in the success and expansion of KPPC over the past 21 years. Their new ownership is richly deserved.”
Angela said: “We’re not retiring just yet! Indeed, we’re looking forward to supporting Kat and Adam as they assume greater responsibility and take the business to new heights.”
The evolution of KPPC comes when the spotlight shines on planning and housing like at no other time in recent memory with proposed reforms of the sector.
Adam said: “Planning can be a complex and frustrating business. However, with our methodology and expertise, we can make sense of it and know the best way to get our clients the permissions and outcomes they need.”
Kat said: “We have always had a close-knit, friendly team with a strong focus on excellent standards of professional service for our valued customers, which will continue as we grow in the exciting times ahead.”

Kat and Adam know KPPC – and the planning sector – inside out.
Experienced planning manager and administrator Kat has been with the business since 2006. She is highly methodical and organised with outstanding attention to detail as well as a warm and welcoming manner.
Adam joined KPPC in 2014 after completing his degree and gaining significant experience in local authority planning roles. He is experienced in all areas of planning and a fully chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
