Kia updates PV5 line-up and reveals Cargo line-up

Kia has expanded its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) line-up with the introduction of the PV5 Passenger 7-seat, a new ‘Elite’ grade and key updates.
The PV5 Passenger 7-seat is aimed at a wide range of audiences, from family and group travel to ride-hailing and taxi services, including airport transfers, commercial shuttles and other shared mobility applications.
Expanding beyond the existing 5-seat variant, the PV5 Passenger 7-seat brings three rows of seating, a low step-in height, combined with sliding doors for easy access to the second and third row seating.
The PV5 Passenger 5-seat will continue to be available with both the Standard Range 51.5kWh and Long Range 71.2kWh battery options, while the PV5 Passenger 7-seat is exclusively available with the Long Range 71.2kWh battery in the UK.
Like all PV5 variants, the front-mounted charging port adds an extra layer of practicality, allowing recharging without obstructing access to the passenger or cargo area. The PV5 Passenger is also equipped with Kia’s Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)* technology on ‘Plus’ and ‘Elite’ grades, allowing the electric vehicle to power external devices using an internal or external socket.
From launch, the PV5 Passenger has been available with two grades; ‘Essential’ and ‘Plus’. These are now joined by a new high-spec ‘Elite’ grade that includes as standard electric sliding doors with power door latch, ventilated front seats, surround view monitor, blind spot view monitor, park distance warning (side sensors), 2-tone full PU upholstery and premium paint.
Pricing for the PV5 Passenger in the UK now starts from £33,195 with the 5-seat Elite model from £39,675.
At the same time Kia’s making MY27 updates to the PV5 Cargo range. Driver comfort takes a noticeable step forward with standard lumbar support and a driver’s height‑adjustable armrest (two‑seat configuration only). Cabin refinement also improves thanks to a new composite bulkhead, while three‑seats becomes standard – initially exclusive to the Cargo L2/H1 – with two-seats a no-cost option.
A new Cargo L1/H1 becomes the entry point to the PV5 Cargo line-up, with prices starting from £27,355 (+VAT).
