So tell us a little more about Branded Studios
Branded are a full service production company. In January this year we took over a stunning building in Saxon Square, Christchurch which we have converted into an incredible creative space with video and photo studios, recording studio, green-screen room, even a private cinema.

I know you work in TV and Film but how can our readers engage with Branded?
We are content suppliers to the BBC, Netflix, ITV, Sky and many more, however we want to really cement ourselves in the local community with offerings to local businesses and individuals. That’s why we have grown our corporate content offering for local businesses and created a wonderful gift range for individuals to get the local community involved with us; from photoshoot packages to complete career-changing industry master classes.

How hard is it to break into film and TV?
It is extremely hard to break into the industry. The competition is great and opportunities hard to come by, that is why we have developed some incredible packages to help creative individuals get their first steps to success.

What do these packages look like?
We have created experiences, masterclasses and courses that give people insight into the industry and importantly something that they can take away to aid their own career. For example ‘Be an Actor Experience’ where you would get a studio tour, an industry introduction, acting class and rehearsal, masterclass with a Film Director, and get to record a video of a monologue or dialogue, professionally edited for your own portfolio. So we are equipping people not only with knowledge, but things they can really use to kick-start a career. Similarly for writers, editors, models, even TV presenters.

Our photography packages are great for those who love the camera; from newborn babies, pet photo shoots and families, to model portfolios, even boudoir! We can also make a video out of your old family snaps.

What do you love about your career in Film and TV?
Creating and helping other creatives bring things to life. I think that is really the heart of what I love – making something that wasn’t there before. That and being able to say I directed the likes of Sir Patrick Stewart, I don’t think that will ever get boring to me!
