What is Profhilo?
There’s been a lot of buzz around Hyaluronic Acid in beauty news recently and although the word ‘acid’ sounds a bit scary, HA is naturally produced by our own skin cells to help maintain moisture levels. Unfortunately, due to ageing and environmental aggressors, we can often be left with dull skin, fine lines and uneven skin tone – our natural occurring HA can certainly benefit from an added boost!
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid, the first of it’s kind, and is used to treat skin laxity by adding much-wanted hydration to parched, dull skin. This wonder product also helps to remodel ageing and sagging tissue.
How does it work?
Profhilo has one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market and is administered through a series of small injections. Profhilo contains four different types of collagen and elastin which are stimulated to slowly release the HA over a period of 28 days. This stimulation results in significant improvement to tissue and skin texture.
How many treatments do I need?
Our expert practitioner, Shikha Rishi, recommends a minimum of two treatments to start with, four weeks apart. She ensures you’ll see a fantastic result after just the second visit and can then have further treatments every 4 – 6 months after this.
