Getting bathroom storage right

When designing a new bathroom, creating enough storage space for your needs may be difficult if you’re limited by space or the overall design. Andrew Baxter, Bathroom Manager at Elliotts Living Spaces in Lymington, looks at 3 different storage solutions to help utilise bathroom space.

Fitted furniture suits all spaces.
Whether you have a large or compact bathroom, there is a wide range of fitted bathroom furniture that can give you the storage and style you require. For those with less space, opting for fitted furniture will combine your sink and toilet along with a modern storage cupboard.

Want to keep floor space clear?
Wall hung units will do just that! Opting for wall hung vanity units with storage drawers or cupboards is a great way of gaining additional storage without impacting the floor space. Tall wall hung storage units are also a great idea where more wall space is available.

Create a shower alcove.
Sometimes, the ‘boxing in’ of essential bathroom pipework can provide an opportunity to create some additional in-shower storage. Recessed tiled shelves are a perfect spot to store shower essentials and eliminates the need for a shower caddy.
