Lone Pine Park: Where Tranquillity, Exclusivity & Luxury Are Home

Nestled in a picturesque pine-filled forest is the spectacular Lone Pine Park: a 14.5 acre residential development for those 55 plus, who are looking for somewhere very special to reside. We were invited to their gorgeous development that is adjoining ‘Golf Links Road’ in Ferndown, also known as ‘millionaires row’.

The park is stunning – I know I’ve already mentioned spectacular and gorgeous but seriously, it’s all true! I’m still in awe; fourteen and a half acres of forest, with almost one hundred homes scattered amongst the trees. I love the contrast of the organic forest, against the modernity of the homes, peeking through the trees. It’s not at all like your average residential park. I ask you, how do you envisage when someone says, ‘mobile home’? Mustard yellows, plastic awnings and garish white panelling? Think again…

Not your average residential park
Each and every home is utterly unique. As we wandered around their ‘Cambrian Serenity’ home, that was evident. It was bursting with understated luxury; glossy tiles, chalky-grey wood, dense fluffy carpets, matte-black feature radiators and sofas to sink into. After speaking with Sales Manager ‘Simon Stephens’ I discovered that you could actually customise every inch of your new home, from tiles to accessories – all provided by top quality suppliers.

The homes are carefully manoeuvred into place with a brick-built base and completed with your own garage and/or shed and landscaped garden; Just enough to maintain, without taking up all of your time.

The park is divided up into small cul-de-sacs, all individually named (a rather adorable touch). One minute you might be strolling through ‘Honeysuckle Close’ and the next minute you’re in ‘Foxglove Glade’. This is just phase two of an incredible plan to upgrade the entire park, into a five star premium residential estate.

Packed with history
This park has been around for almost 110 years and has a little history of it’s own. Said to be one of the first places ‘Lord Baden Powel’ (known as the pioneer of our modern day Scouts) held his scout movement. There is even an original scout hut on site, though not fit for use now; it’s an incredible piece of British scouting history.

Prestigious location
As mentioned on introduction, Lone Pine Park is situated within the confines of ‘Golf Links Road’. Near to Sandbanks, this is a hot spot for many flocking millionaires. This area is packed with extravagant property and just so happens to back onto a premium championship golf course. But it’s not just the wealth that draws people to this area. In addition to all of the luxuries, the area surrounding Lone Pine Park boasts some gorgeous views of ‘Parley Common’ and the surrounding woods. Where deer and other such enchanting animals can be spotted prancing around. Being just a short bus-ride away from Ringwood, Bournemouth, Wimborne and the beautiful New Forest there is a plethora of things to see and do, no more than fifteen minutes away.

Despite its prestigious location, these stunning homes won’t break the bank. With luxury homes starting from £250,000 you can secure yourself a little piece of ‘millionaires row’ for a fraction of the price.
